Scope
This policy applies to the website, the enquiry service and our software. It forms part of the Terms of Use and the Software Licence.
You must not
- use the website or software for anything unlawful, or in a way that breaks applicable law, including tax, consumer and data protection law;
- commit or assist fraud, including false invoices, fake receipts, misleading records or impersonation;
- harass, threaten or abuse anyone, including our staff, through any channel;
- try to gain unauthorised access to the website, our systems, another customer’s data or any account;
- upload, send or introduce malware or any harmful code;
- overload, flood or disrupt the website or enquiry service, including automated submissions or scraping that degrades the service;
- circumvent, disable or tamper with licensing, activation, access controls or security features;
- use our software or services to misuse third-party systems, such as sending spam through messaging or email services;
- copy, resell or distribute our software or content except as the Software Licence or the Intellectual Property Notice allows.
Security research
Good-faith security research that follows our Security Policy is welcome. Testing must not access other people’s data, disrupt service or use social engineering.
What we may do
If we reasonably believe this policy has been broken, we may, to the extent permitted by applicable law, block access to the website or enquiry service, suspend or end a licence under the Software Licence, and report unlawful activity to the authorities.
