How it works
What the product’s documentation says about this kind of device.
Tested models
Specific models tested in real use, listed only with a record of the test.
Not supported
What the product does not do, said plainly before you buy.
Compatibility should be confirmed before purchase/deployment. A device that uses a common standard, such as USB, Bluetooth or a Windows printer driver, is not guaranteed to work. We do not promise support for every printer, scanner, cash drawer, payment terminal or barcode device.

Computers
- How it works
BILL OS: Windows 10 (version 1903 or later) or Windows 11, 64-bit, with about 450 MB free, Microsoft Edge WebView2 and .NET Framework 4.8.
DINE OS: A desktop app with its own local server. Ask us which computers are supported for your restaurant.
- Connection
- The main computer stays on while the business is open; other devices connect to it over the local network.
- Tested models
- No specific models have been published as tested yet. Test your device before relying on it, or ask us.
- Not supported
The BILL OS desktop installation is for Windows. Other computers, including Macs, can use it in a browser on the same network.
Receipt printers
- How it works
BILL OS: Prints through Windows printing to any printer Windows can print to: 58 mm or 80 mm thermal rolls, or A4. The page length follows the receipt, so no blank paper feeds.
DINE OS: Prints receipts and kitchen order tickets through the computer’s printing, to the printer you choose.
- Connection
- USB, network or Bluetooth, as long as the operating system has a working driver.
- Tested models
- No specific models have been published as tested yet. Test your device before relying on it, or ask us.
- Not supported
Neither product sends printer-specific (ESC/POS) commands such as an automatic cutter or cash drawer kick; the printer driver controls cutting.
Label and barcode printers
- How it works
BILL OS: Labels on thermal rolls (50 × 25 mm or 38 × 25 mm) or A4 sheets (65 or 24 per page), as EAN-13 or Code 128, printed through Windows printing.
- Connection
- Any label printer with a Windows driver that supports your label size.
- Tested models
- No specific models have been published as tested yet. Test your device before relying on it, or ask us.
Barcode scanners
- How it works
BILL OS: Scanners that type into the focused field like a keyboard, into the sales screen’s product search. Phone camera scanning in browsers with a built-in barcode reader (Chrome on Android, Chrome or Edge on many computers).
- Connection
- USB or wireless scanners in keyboard mode.
- Tested models

Cash drawers
- How it works
BILL OS: Records the drawer shift: opening float, pay-ins and pay-outs, and the counted close.

Kitchen screens
- How it works
DINE OS: The kitchen display runs in DINE OS, filtered by station, on a screen connected to the system.
